You still want my Mario Allstars + World Bundle? Btw. I thought you won't be here often, as I won't visit sealedgameheaven again... or at least only very sporadic. I gave up collecting sealed games, except Zelda / Fire Emblem. Maybe I show up there when my Zelda collection is "complete".

As you know i got the UK Mario Allstars + World Bundle box meanwhile but would love to have your black one much more. Unfortunately - when i look now at Prupru´s collection i see so many more of those snes boxes/bundles i also would like to have, but all these are very hard to find i think and not would go for less money, probably. Its a pity you gave up sealed collecting...there are so many games on the market you must have sealed!
I know some guys of you probably think what am i doing here when i only love sealed games, but i also have to say i collect opened games too.
Jaffar, you never were the big sealed collector either, so just go on with the sealed Zelda games. Its the best game you can collect in sealed condition anyway.
Hope nevertheless we see you maybe soon again in the SGH-forum....i will also be here in this forum sometimes.
If any other guy here wants to start sealed collecting too, then maybe just have a look in this special SGH-forum. Its a "one of a kind" forum, so there only exists this one sealed forum worldwide, therefore it is an international forum! Many of you will like it. Thats what i think at least....

That's exactly the problem! I already spent too much money on (sealed) games, so I can't afford more of them. But I'm thinking about collecting PSP UK sealed Games, as I now have a PSP Go. And maybe I start collecting again in the next generation (maybe already with 3DS). I just want to be "there" from the release on. That would be kind of exciting.

Yes, you are right, those sealed games are the most expensive thing in collecting games at all i would say. Many guys just think we are something like: or something like: haha...
Nevertheless i find this is one great idea to collect sealed games from the beginning on and 3DS will be a wonderful console anyway...i also think about collecting some sealed games of this console, but i never go for a full set of any console. On this way i will always have some money left. Moreover if you start sealed collecting when a new console appears, then you will still get the games for good money. This would change when you would start some years later only, because then you would not get some special games for cheap money anymore...but you know from what i talk.

When i can answer your question and i hope im able to say that. He (snesbits) offered already 1k (1000,- gbps) to Prupru. I myself offered 500,- gbps to Prupru too, but he always declined! I love such real collectors as Prupru it is. You know they are really honest collectors and not would sell out very quick!

hm... you collect sealed games...
does it really matter whether you own the system or not? i mean, you will not really be gaming with it, at least not the sealed games that you collect...

from this view, you could save the money for the system. am i wrong?

I don't know if I start collecting again with the 3DS. I'm still a student and that's the biggist problem. I just don't have the money for this expensive hobby. But it's sure I'll collect games from a Nintendo system. That's the best way to get a "complete" set, as you can collect only these games with the Nintendo tear strip or something like that.

There also won't be a change in system. It was really tedious to change from red to gray tear strip. For example Twilight Princess: now you can get one with red tear strip and red logo, red tear strip and grey logo and grey tear strip and grey logo. So which one do I get? Which one is the most valuable? One thing is for sure: I'll only collect UK-PAL. So I really hope the 3DS or Wii 2 will have a clear system that won't change.

And another advantage is, that there are not too much CE's if you collect for a Nintendo system. I collected PS3 games sealed. But even only the exclusive titles were way too expensive (best example is now the signature edition for GT5).

The best system to collect is imo the SNES. It's expensive, but the system behind it is so clear. There are only UK-PAL with tear strip and there are not too many games / versions.

@Christian: Collecting sealed games is for me something personal. I have to like the games I collect. I don't collect only for value.

I usually don't like the XXXL-collections but this in this case...it's just something else. Quality games, great condition and a really nice presentation. I'd give you fifty thumbs up if it was possible.

I really love the red cabinet with glass doors. Did you buy this from an old store or have it custom made in some way? Would you trade it for a kidney in mint condition?

About your question, I bought the cabinet to a particular. He had 3 ones (2 SNES and one Nintendo). With 2 of my friends, we picked up the 3. Cabinet cost me around 170€ all included (gasoline and cabinet price). A very cheap price ! I need to find an other one to put the rest of my games. ^^
