Beitrag von marvinsaint » 7. Februar 2015, 19:48

This one of most rares hacks for snes. This cartridge was released in south america from DVS Eletronics, maybe a Paraguaian or Chinese company.
I'm specialist in cartmod and need help for dump this cart. They have a extra ic which insert some type of code for run this game in console.
I have a unpefect dump which run until opening of game.

I need help for dump this !!!

Have you ever tried to dump the game via Retrode 2 ? Maybe this could work?!

Work this game on real hardware?!

Thanks

Yes,i dumped with retrode2 too. I'm specialist in cartmod and i have my own flash cartridge based in real hardware.

The unique dump which work was made my dump/programer . The game starts in console but freeze when opening. In emulator ( snes9x ) no longer to work!!!

Theory :

This game was developed by DVS , a Paraguaian company, very popular in South America. They are specialist in codification some micro controlers lik PALCE .
This cartridge have two epox ics , the midle chip maybe a PALCE loaded with copy protecion and the second is a 8Mb ROM .

I tried isolate the PALCE but the game still running in console and with the same protection for copy.

It is wonderful to review this cartridge makes me come almost 20 years ago when I could play it.
I remember well that it was slow fought but it was so fun. I always search the net for this cartridge and finally see something new about it.
When I played this game I recall that he was difficult to work Lebro me that he has some incompatibility with some models in my SNES because he can barely worked and the dodo my friend worked.

There's a guy called http://www.dforce3000.de/ or group that makes dumps, creates fix for pirated games and does everything with the Super Nintendo. Please talk to them maybe they can create this fix which blocks the game.

If not for much abuse I would ask that you make available at least this version you have dumpada maybe one day someone can make it work.

I'm thrilled. :applaus:

Hello! Did you know there is a ROM of this game now? The game is called: «Mortal Kombat Mythologies Gold 2000».
We have been waiting for over 15 years but we finally got it!

Thanks to CLE & Co

Did anybody try this game? I have some trouble with the second door in level 2 (with that triangle-key). Seems like some events do not work - or is it just my Emulator (snes9x) ?

I hacked around in the rom a little bit:
With
7FF000 , $01 (there is something in inventory slot 1)
7FF01C , $40 (this something is key object 3)
you can bypass door 2. Door 1 and 3 work just fine
In some later level there are 2 elevator-platforms which don't go up and i'm stuck :(

Ok, these elevators work. You have to press A+B together to activate them ... not the first thing I thought of

Hmm, tried some more. With

7E0302,$01 you can unlock door 1
7E0306,$01 you can unlock door 3

but I still haven't found a way to open door 2. Using the triangle-key puts 7E0304 to $01 but you cant pass the door. Maybe some kind of map-bug?
Anyone else playing around with this?

In world 2, key 2 behaves strangely. (Come to think of it, it also does for the Genesis/MegaDrive version.)

Getting key 2 will activate something in a different part of the stage but it's not obvious where. There is an elevator off to the right that normally doesn't show up, but after you've picked up key 2 it will begin to appear. The problem is that it's not marked or anything.

Here's how you get to the elevator in question. When you first start the level, and you go down the first rope - but not all the way down, hook a right when it gives you the option. And then keep going all the way to the right. If you don't have key 2, it will look like a dead end. If you have key 2, you'll see an elevator. It won't be easy to land on it.

Good luck!

@tabmok99: Wow, thank you very much! I missed that.

What did the level-designer think? Key 1 opens door next to keyhole 1, key 3 opens door next to keyhole 3 and key 2 ... activates elevator on the other side of the level ... well

Yeah, the level design is a little flawed. It was like that in the more commonly known Sega MD/Genesis version as well. Only for World 2 though -- Worlds 3 and 4 don't have that problem. In my review of the game, I kinda go through a compare and contrast at the end:

MegaDrive/Genesis version:

Super Nintendo version:

It's not exactly the same game; they each have their strengths and weaknesses.

I enjoyed the video. I didn't really have enough patience to get past the stupid bamboo spikes.

Is there a non-hacked version of the ROM image?
