Does the Satellaview Expansion theoretically work on non-japanese Consoles?

Yes, most probably. The power source is the console itself and the strenght of the electricity given out by the console should be international normed. Anyway, the console needs to be modded to play NTSC games on 60hz I guess since soundlink games and audio are timed in 60hz and the BS-X cartridge got a regionprotection. Maybe kiddo or Seru-Kun can give more specific information about this. Anyway, the main body of the satellaview is not functional and useless without a proper signal which exists nowhere in the world at the moment. ;)

Breaking news: The L-conector doesn't fit into the PAL console. And since the US console lacks the right shape to be placed above a satellaview, I think I have to put my guess right here: its only compatible to Japanese consoles.

I took pictures of the "Satellaview-page" of Family Computer Magazine 1995 22 and 1996 4,6,8. A few satellaview related information were also in ads and articles, I also made pictures of them, but they were only a few.
Sended them to kiddo for his research.
